No Biscuits in Sydney

I'm starting to miss some common American foods. For example, today I really wanted a good chicken biscuit, so I thought I'd run by McDonalds after church. I've abstained from hitting up any American restaurants since I've been here, but I really wanted a chicken biscuit. I head in to the McCafe and check out the menu. They have Egg McMuffins, Hotcakes, something called a chicken brekkie roll, but zero biscuits. They also have zero McGriddles (not that I've ever had one, but it would be my second choice after a biscuit). I left without getting anything and consoled myself with a bowl of Cheerios.

For lunch I decided to check out KFC for a good biscuit. KFC doesn't even have biscuits. You better believe as soon as I find an oven, I'll be making myself a biscuit.

On a happier note, I did finally get my first drink with ice today :).

PS - They also don't have oil & vinegar for sandwiches. I had felafel yesterday, very interesting (not really recommended).

Better learn to like lamb!

by Rausd

We were eating sausage the other morning and it didn't quite taste right...until we figured out it was lamb.
